We are pleased to share that Crystal has acquired the Sorghum, Pearl Millet and Fodder seed business of Syngenta. This acquisition comes with their highly valued and prestigious brands and associated breeding program. This portfolio has strong base in India and an interesting exports business. The key brands acquired are Mahalaxmi (Sorghum), Atheeva (Pearl Millet) and SX-17 (SSG). Each of these are premium brands of their respective segments.

With this, Crystal will have full-fledged breeding program for Cotton, Maize, Rice, Sorghum, Pearl Millet and SSG, which will enable Crystal to take seed business to new heights.

Driven by our philosophy to make our associates grow and be successful, Company has expanded its portfolio through acquisitions. Some of our recent acquisitions are
• Speciality chemicals plant from Cytec India Specialty Chemicals & Materials Pvt Limited, an Indian unit of Belgian chemicals firm Solvay SA in Jan 2018
• Fungicide brand – Bavistin from Germany’s BASF SE in 2016
